Do you need a certificate to do certain office work? Is this an office computer or a home computer? If the former, see your IT Dept. If the latter and you haven't installed a certificate, start with the basics: http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_MalwareMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

I have a similar issue, opening any Office 2007 application i get the pop up, and clicking cancel does clear the pop up for a time, but then it comes back. Clicking yes, my Digital certificate is removed from my computer. Any ideas??

If you installed the private key, or let explorer install the private key for you, you may have been asked to "Enable Strong private key protection." If you checked the box enabling the strong private key protection, then you're saying "I want to be notified when ever this private key is used." You can eliminate the Dialog if you can reinstall the private key. You'll first need to export the key, then delete the key from your store, then import/install the key.I don't know if there is a tool that allows you to modify the store so that you can change this setting inside the running store... or if you have to export, delete, import as I've indicated.
